We feel the responsibility to protect the resources in the nature because we are aware of the fact that the life sustainability depends on the sustainability of the natural resources.
E.C.A has always considered to design the products that provide the people with the savings of energy and natural sources by minimizing the consumption of non-renewable natural resources at each stage of the production process.
On based of this approach, we make the design of our products complying with the requirements of applicable standards in the environmental protection. The armatures we manufacture are aiming to provide the users with utmost comfort and the savings in energy and water. So, it can be possible to have water saving in the bathrooms and kitchens up to 100 tons per year by 70%.
In scope of the investments we made for the sub-products in our business activities, we use the recycling packages with less paint. Thanks to our sensitivity to the environmental pollution, we achieve to enable approximately at least 4.500 trees to release oxygen in our ecosystem as well. Additionally, we support environmentally friendly transportation. So the packages of our products are designed to be in the minimum size as much as it is possible enabling less CO2 release during the transportation.
The R&D team of or company has adopted the concept of water saving as a standard requirement on the products for the last ten years so every technology has been developed considering the water saving as the basis.
We are aware of the fact that today 20 % of 6 billion people on earth do not have safe water resources. By year 2050, it is estimated that nearly 7 billion people may suffer from water shortage in parallel to the increase of the population and every 2 out of 3 people will encounter to the drought in the future.
Under these vital conditions, we develop the eco-friendly products and technologies including;
- pressure compansating aerators;
- special cartridges separating the amount of the water from the adjusted temperature of the water
- Photocell (infrared) armature that prevents the excessive water consumption offering lower flow rates compared to other faucets with water saving.
- Thermostatic faucets that prevent the excessive water and energy consumption by pre-adjusting the water temperature.
- Mix armatures that are eligible to ensure water-saving up to 55% compared to a standard sink faucet.
